Prosthodontics is the area of dentistry that treats patients with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues to obtain optimal oral health, function and esthetics with the use of biocompatible substitutes, dental implants, dentures, veneer crowns and bridges. Dental education in the Department of Prosthodontics is given both theoretically and practically to our students throughout 5 years . Our mission is to provide the patients with high quality service through our predoctoral student program, to teach the predoctoral students the basic principles, concepts and practices of prosthodontics required for the diagnosis and treatment of patients under the supervision of specialists in prosthodontics who are skilled clinicians with a strong research background, who worked hardly to continue the development of knowledge in prosthodontics through basic and clinical researches and to incorporate cutting edge technology into our patient treatment and curriculum. Our vision is to benefit from contemporary technological developments and to be a leader in scientific research and to determine the standards of education of dental professionals and patient care.
